The official language of the Congress is
English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
Letter of Invitation
A letter of invitation to attend the symposium will be sent on individual request. It does not place any obligation on the Organising Committee to cover fees or provide funds for travelling and living expenses.
Visa Requirements
In most cases,
a valid passport is sufficient to enter Slovenia. Participants are advised to check visa requirements at the nearest Slovenian Embassy or Consulate. Information on visas and addresses of the Slovenian embassies is obtainable on the web site of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Liability and Insurance
All participants are reminded that neither the Organising Committee nor the technical organiser are liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or private property. Participants and accompanying persons are requested to make their own arrangements in respect of health and travel insurance.
Climate and Dress
Ljubljana has
a central European climate. The weather is generally pleasant in June, with an average daily temperature of 22oC, but a jacket is advisable for the cooler evenings. Participants are advised to bring raincoat or umbrella, as it is possible to get rainfall at June.
Coffee Breaks and Lunches
During session breaks, refreshments as well as lunches will be served free of charge to participants wearing name badges.
Credit Cards
All major credit cards, such as
American Express, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Diners, are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants and shops.
Electricity
Electricity in Slovenia is
220V, 50Hz.
Time
European summer time,
one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Shopping
Many antique shops, sales galleries, arcades and the open-air market create the spirit of the Old Town. Normal
shopping hours during the week are 09.00 to 19.00, on
Saturdays most shops close at 13.00. Wednesdays and Saturdays are the best days to visit Ljubljana Market, which is not only a market, but also a meeting point of Ljubljana inhabitants, especially on Saturdays. On Sundays, there is a flea market held on the banks of the
Ljubljanica River.
