Invitation to the 13th International Aphasia Rehabilitation Conference

Dear colleagues,

It is my great pleasure and honour to invite you to the 13^th International Aphasia Rehabilitation Conference which will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia at Hotel Union from June 30^th to July 3^rd 2008.

The International Aphasia Rehabilitation Conference is based on a tradition of excellence and brings together speech and language therapists, linguists, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation specialists who are devoted to research and clinical practice in aphasia rehabilitation. The conference is also a world platform, giving all participants the opportunity to meet colleagues from other countries and discuss their recent work in aphasiology. It will be nice opportunity to promote awareness of aphasia and grow the support for people with aphasia.

The conference is traditional international meeting, this time takes place in fascinating Slovenia – the country of famous Lipiza horses, caves, vineyards and Julian Alps with their mountain peaks and lakes and Adriatic Sea. Its capital Ljubljana has a picturesque unity, composed of an architectural heritage spanning from Roman Emona, to modern Ljubljana. I am sure the conference will attract your attention with its program and a chance to enjoy the hospitality of Slovene people.
